Opened in 2005 by Neil Coles and Ángel Gallardo, it gives golfers a different balance of fairway width, hazards and greens from the Championship Stadium. Both are independently routed eighteen-hole courses on the same resort.
Where Stadium can feel unforgiving for a marginally misplaced approach, Tour gives the player greater opportunities to recover and to choose a confident line. The course still uses the resort's wooded terrain and water features, producing a real championship-quality round without the constant impression of being under examination.

The best reason to play Tour is contrast on the same property. A golfer who has spent the previous day navigating Stadium's demanding green surrounds can approach Tour with less anxiety from the tee. There is space to make decisions, yet the bunkers and water remain strategically placed. It rewards a good strike while preserving the chance to recover from a modest error.
Tour is not just a consolation round after Stadium. Its wider driving areas and more recoverable misses produce a different rhythm, especially for mixed-handicap groups. A second day at Camiral lets players experience that contrast without transferring clubs to another property.
Its greens and shorter par threes can still be demanding. The difference is the rhythm of the challenge: more holes invite a positive attack, and the player sees enough width to shape a preferred tee shot. Coles and Gallardo designed Tour as Camiral's second eighteen, opening it in 2005 after Stadium established its reputation. Stadium subsequently hosted the 2022 Catalunya Championship and was selected for the 2031 Ryder Cup; those headline championships belong to Stadium, not Tour. Tour gains credibility from its own architecture and conditioning, rather than appropriating events held next door.
Pairing Camiral Tour Course with Other Golf
Camiral Stadium and Tour make an efficient two-round stay at Hotel Camiral. A subsequent trip to Empordà Forest or Empordà Dunes adds geographical variety within a Girona/Costa Brava itinerary. El Prat Pink near Terrassa is a further Barcelona leg and should not be treated as a morning's walk away.
For a group based at Hotel Camiral, Tour offers a more relaxed second golf day without changing accommodation. Golfers who want a stronger change in terrain can instead move towards Empordà Forest and Dunes near the Costa Brava, while Tour is ideal when the aim is to compare two different courses from the same design team. That makes its value a question of playing preferences and travel rhythm, not simply the ranking of Stadium.
Scorecard, Visitor Rules and Green Fees
Camiral Tour is par 72 and offers four tees: 58 at 5,863 metres, 54 at 5,476, 50 at 5,080 and 46 at 4,681. These options allow the shorter, more accommodating resort routing to remain enjoyable for golfers with different handicaps. Visitors need an official handicap certificate, and Tour is booked separately from Stadium.
The 2026 standard visitor green fee for 18 holes is €117 in high season (April–May and 9 September–October), €98 in mid season (March and June–8 September) and €93 in low season (January–February and November–December). Unlike Stadium's premium buggy-inclusive package, Tour is a distinct visitor round with its own services. Combining the two courses creates a varied two-day stay at Hotel Camiral.
